Registration:
Series and workshops require pre-registration, use links provided online. NO DROP-INS AVAILABLE, and we do NOT pro-rate for partial enrollment.
What to bring:
LABEL EVERYTHING YOU BRING! Blocks, straps, and blankets are provided and a limited supply of mats are also provided. If you know you need additional props we recommend purchasing your own to bring. For ALL classes, bring a sealed top water bottle and as we have limited control of the temperature remember to dress in layered, comfortable clothing. Eat lightly before practice and arrive 10 minutes early to settle in.
Payment:
WE ACCEPT CASH, CHECK, or CREDIT CARD. Payment for all series classes are required in advance of the series start date – PAYMENT SECURES ENROLLMENT, space is limited.
Refund policy for series classes and workshops:
Payment is non-refundable 24 hours prior to the first day of the program. Payment is 50% refundable 1 week or less prior to series start, 100% refundable (less a $15 service fee) prior to that. Families lead busy lives and things do come up, so please make sure you’re willing to commit to a series before enrolling. If you become aware you will be unable to participate for the remainder of a quarter due to extenuating circumstances, (i.e. severe illness, injury, family emergency, moving out of area..,), contact us immediately and we may be able to credit your account.
Class make-up policy/swapping:
We do offer a swapping option to switch days for students enrolled in the Women’s series only, except during the first week of the series. There are no “make up” options for missed classes in a series or workshop. Classes are NOT transferable to students not enrolled – there are no drop in options regardless of attendance.
Substitute Teachers:
On occasion, we will have a substitute teacher. This rarely happens and is usually reserved for vacation, training, or severe illness. We have a fantastic, experienced substitute staff who is fully capable of filling in completely should something arise. Each teacher has extensive training, is insured, has their own style and we ask that you remain open and welcoming to a teacher filling in.
Inclement Weather policy:
Every effort will be made to offer classes on a predictable basis and in accordance to the schedule. However, if weather would make it unsafe for students to travel to the studio, classes will be cancelled. Call the Yoga Momma voicemail at 206.658.3573 to find out if classes have been cancelled. For pre-registered, pre-paid classes we will first attempt to offer a make-up option for the class and if that isn’t possible you will be refunded the amount for that class.
Class cancellation: (for pre-registered classes only)
In the rare instance we have to cancel a class altogether, you will be provided a full refund for that class. Every effort will be made to inform you of a cancellation prior to class via email and phone.
Work Study, Volunteer, and Scholarship options:
We believe that yoga should be accessible to all families, regardless of financial resources. Running a yoga program requires a lot of support and we have a large number of work study options. These include (but are not limited to) flyer distribution, pre-class set-up, post-class studio closure, other marketing support. If you have a skill you’d like to offer, please let me know! Please email or call for more information on work-study options.
We also offer scholarships for those requiring financial assistance.
Pro-rating for partial series:
We do NOT allow pro-rating cost for our series. If you are unable to attend a class, you are offered the option to switch with another student from another day after the first week of the series. There are no make-ups permitted as we register to capacity.
Health assessment:
Prior to participating in any Yoga Momma offerings you’ll provide information on your current health. This helps us create an appropriate series tailored to participants, as well as inform us of any special needs you have. This information is completely confidential and we will only discuss your information with you. On the rare occasion, we might ask you to get permission from your primary care provider to participate. It is critical you notify us of any changes in your health status at any time.
